Clinical Gynecology in Gillette, WY

Women’s Comprehensive Health Center

At Associates in Women’s Health, we offer a complete range of services in clinical gynecology. From routine screenings for things like cervical and breast cancer to contraception to evaluation and treatment of abnormal bleeding, leaky bladders, pelvic infections and infertility—if it involves the female reproductive tract, our women’s health center has it covered!

Why choose Associates in Women’s Health?

    • Our Pap smear test, which screens for cervical cancer and its precursors, utilizes the most modern methods available, which includes [where appropriate] co-testing for the presence of the strains of Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) most closely linked to cervical cancer.
  • Likewise, our testing for Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI’s or Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STD’s)) is done using the most sensitive techniques in existence to minimize the risk of missing their presence.
  • In addition to performing in office breast exams and evaluation, we refer breast concerns that need imaging to Campbell County Hospital where they have the most up-to-date equipment available, including 3-D mammography, to determine if there is a potential problem.

Along with routine screenings, our clinic takes care of virtually all clinical gynecologic problems. Vaginal infections as well as urinary tract infections (UTI’s) are typically diagnosed and treatment initiated at the time the patient is seen. Problems with birth control are frequently handled with just a phone call. Abnormal uterine bleeding, such as periods that are too long, too heavy, or too frequent, is thoroughly evaluated in our clinic by our very own gyn doctor, Dr Jones, before treatment options are discussed. This includes personally performing pelvic ultrasound when indicated. Common causes of infertility, including Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), are quickly identified. Evaluation for causes of both acute and chronic pelvic pain, such as ovarian cysts and endometriosis, is performed with compassion and patience by Dr Jones and his staff. Troublesome problems like urinary incontinence and the transition into menopause are thoroughly discussed and treatment options presented.

All during your care at our women’s health center, Dr Jones will take the time to explain to you what his impressions are and why he is making the recommendations he makes. With the heart of a teacher, he will involve you in the decision-making regarding your own clinical gynecologic care and strive to present you with all your options as well as the information you need to make informed choices about your health and well-being.
