Self-Assessment: Chronic Pelvic Pain

Chronic Pelvic Pain is defined as pelvic pain which has been present for at least 6 months. It can be cyclic (occurring during your period) or noncyclic (happening anytime in your cycle); constant or intermittent; and accompanied by pain with intercourse (particularly with deep penetration), as well as with other symptoms such as increased menstrual flow or pain when moving the bowels or emptying the bladder.
